This Is What a Sunrise Looks Like. On Mars! Amazing Images….

The universe is a vast place – so vast it is uncomprehending to the human race. But with today’s super technology we are lucky to have the capabilities to at least take a look at some of our neighboring planets.

What we have here is a quite remarkable selection of images taken by the BBC & National Geographic Kees Veenenbos  of the sun coming up on Mars.

He says:  “Most of the images are made with home made cylindrical maps and strata. I enhanced also cylindrical maps and added for example the very faint rings of the gas planets.

Ok so they are not photos – obviously, but they are a very accurate rendering of what the Red Planet would look like at sunrise.

So go on, get ready to right-click and “save picture as desktop image” as these images will blow you away!
