OMG This Is Incredible! Have You Ever Seen An exploding Whale?

Whales are one of the biggest creatures alive today and when a dead one washes up onto a beach they need to be removed.

Because of their huge size they have to be cut up into smaller more manageable chunks. This cutting up process comes with its own risks, decomposing whales can explode.

The food inside its digestive system and internal organs start to rot and decay. Bacteria which is an important part of the decaying process create a lot of heat and gas which builds up creating intense pressure inside of the whale.

When biologists or removal teams cut into the whales this gas is released under pressure often throwing blood and guts everywhere as seen in the following videos.

We have 4 videos where 3 of them capture whales exploding due to them being cut open or move and the fourth one is my favourite…

When I first saw video four on a TV show 14 years ago I couldn’t stop laughing… it is a news report where they are reporting on the removal of a whale by blowing it up with dynamite unfortunately the engineers miscalculated and used too much explosives.

People were removed to a safety zone but when the whale blew up chunks of whale meat and blubber were sent sky high and for miles with huge chunks landing well within the safety area destroying cars.

These videos are incredible and must be seen to truly believed, so here are the best exploding whale videos.

I love this video…
